As many as 122 different medicines were discovered in a single incident
When examining counterfeiting incidents only, medicines in the genito-urinary, central nervous system (CNS), and anti-infective therapeutic categories were the most frequently targeted by individuals engaged in pharmaceutical counterfeiting.
