2,451 different medicines were involved in these incidents
In comparison to CY 2019, this represented a twenty-three percent increase (+23%)
As many as seventy-three (73) different medicines were discovered in a single incident
When examining counterfeiting incidents only, medicines in the genito-urinary, central nervous system (CNS), and anti-infective therapeutic categories were the most frequently targeted by individuals engaged in pharmaceutical counterfeiting.
