Novartis

Lucy Hambloch (Associate Director, Anti-Falsified Medicines Europe & Middle East at Novartis) brings nearly 20 years of intelligence experience across both the corporate and public sectors, providing her with a strong foundation in enforcement investigations and intelligence analytics.

She has extensive expertise in Intelligence & Analytics, using threat insights, intelligence sharing, trend analysis, and data-driven methodologies to support prioritization and decision-making. Throughout her career, she has focused on identifying emerging risks, assessing patterns and indicators, and delivering actionable intelligence to support both operational responses and strategic planning. A key element of her work has been fostering intelligence sharing and collaboration, both internally and with external partners, to strengthen the overall threat picture, reduce fragmented decision-making, and improve the effectiveness of investigations and risk mitigation efforts.

Her prior law enforcement background provided her with a strong understanding of chain of custody requirements and evidential standards necessary to preserve integrity, support escalation, and enable enforcement outcomes. She has applied this knowledge in a corporate setting by translating these principles into practical governance guidance, including documentation designed to enhance chain of custody practices for samples collected during anti-falsified medicines investigations. Overall, her combined public sector investigative experience and corporate intelligence expertise position her as a well-rounded Subject Matter Expert in both Enforcement Investigations and Intelligence & Analytics.
